[Vosial C++ 2005] Program description.

Hi there.

My quastion is a bit difficult, i hope u will get the idea what i mean, 
hopefuly after a few words of explanation.

I have been learning c++ using GCC from Cygwin and then MinGW. Now 
having learned most im****tant aspects of C++ (cl*****, Inheritance, 
virtual class/functions, templates exceptions and General Algorithms 
etc.) I would like to start programming in Windows creating simple GUI 
programs.

My quastion is where can I find simple explanation of how Visual C++
works?
Is Visual C++ as simple as let's say Visual Basic?

I had to submit project in VB, i find programming so interesting so have 
learnt C++ with GCC (i have been suggested to that first) and now i 
would love to do Windows Application.
