I fully understand why anyone would ask why not use something like Ghost,
Carbon Copy, a myriad of backup programs, or even dragging in the Finder,
but
to explain why would be a real challenge -- there is something very weird
happening on my system that defies the laws of nature.
What I'm looking for is a script to start at the top of a set of folders
and
re-create those folders on another disk, then copy the contents. During
the
copy, however, folders can't be copied, only files (there are no
packages).
Thus, if a folder is encountered, that folder name must be "created" on
the
target drive ... never copied.
I'm willing to pay for this.
Thanks.
